JUAN DIEGO BOTTO
Actor and director
Actor and director who has worked in film, television, and theater. He has appeared in films such as Martín (Hache) (1997) and Los europeos (2020). In 2022, he made his directorial debut with En los márgenes, a film acclaimed for its focus on the eviction crisis, which was presented at the Venice Film Festival. In television, his performance in the series No me gusta conducir (2022) earned him the Feroz Award for Best Supporting Actor. Throughout his career, he has been nominated for several Goya Awards, establishing himself as a key figure in Spanish cinema.
A prominent director, screenwriter, and producer known for her intimate approach. Some of her most recognized films include The Secret Life of Words and My Life Without Me, both critically acclaimed. Throughout her career, she has received numerous awards, including 8 Goya Awards, and has been internationally recognized at festivals such as Berlin and Toronto. She was also honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Málaga Festival in 2015 and was recognized by the French Ministry of Culture as a Knight of Arts and Letters in the same year.

An actress widely recognized for her versatility in film, theater, and television. She won the Ondas Award and the Fotogramas de Plata for her role in the series Antidisturbios (2020). She has participated in several film productions, including Born (2015), Barcelona, noche de invierno (2019), The Laws of Thermodynamics (2018), and Chavalas (2021). Her extraordinary talent has earned her awards such as Best Leading Actress at the New York City International Film Festival for Born and Best Leading Actress at the Gaudí Awards for Suro (2022). Additionally, she has received various awards in theater and was recently honored with the Fundación Princesa de Girona Award in the Arts category.
Director, screenwriter, and actress who gained recognition for her lead role in the film The Friends of Ágata (2015). Three years later, she directed her first film, Júlia Ist (2017). Creatura (2023) is her second feature film, exploring themes of sexual awakening and desire. It won awards for Best Film and Best Direction at the Gaudí Awards, as well as Best Film at the Directors’ Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival.

Director, screenwriter, and filmmaker known for his versatility in film and television. He won the 2019 Goya Awards for Best Director and Best Original Screenplay, along with Isabel Peña, for El reino (2018), a film that received seven Goya Awards and five Feroz Awards. In 2023, he repeated his success at the Goya Awards with As Bestas, winning again for Best Director and Best Original Screenplay, once more shared with Peña.
