Telecine refers to the colour correction or colour grading process carried out during post-production to adjust and enhance the visual appearance. This process involves modifying the colouration and contrast of the images to achieve an aesthetic that is cohesive and stylistically aligned with the vision of the director and director of photography. Through colour grading, specific tones can be accentuated, colour imbalances corrected, and a particular visual atmosphere created, ranging from the softness and warmth of one scene to the coldness and desolation of another.
Visual effects (VFX) are techniques that use digital technology to create or modify images during post-production, adding elements that cannot be captured during traditional filming. These effects cover a wide range of elements, from creating imaginary environments and fantastical creatures to integrating special effects like explosions, fire, or magic, all aimed at enhancing the immersion and spectacle of the story. VFX transform the filmed material, adding layers of realism and fantasy, enabling the creation of epic and visually striking scenes, and highlighting the artistic vision of the project.
