Over forty identical wigs were used for Berta’s doubles, each dyed using various techniques to ensure they retained their colour and quality, despite being exposed to high temperatures during filming.

The costume and makeup department plays a vital role in defining the appearance of the characters and the world they inhabit. Their main goal is to help tell the story through the physical appearance of the actors and actresses, in order to reflect the atmosphere, setting, character, and development of each role.
